Guardians of the Galaxy requires 150GB to install on PC

Square Enix has updated the PC requirements to run its upcoming action RPG, Guardians of the Galaxy.

According to a recent update on Steam, Guardians of the Galaxy will require a chunky 150GB of space on your PC in order to install the game, and recommends you use a fast SSD to boost performance.

Don’t panic too much, though; the 150GB is just required for installation purposes. The game itself will reportedly only takes up around 32GB, which is much more manageable (thanks, TheGamer).

As for what else you’ll need? Recommended requirements include a 64-bit processor and operating system, Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i7-4790, 16 GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super or AMD Radeon RX 590. You’ll also need DirectX Version 12, too.

As a bare minimum, you’ll need 8 GB RAM, an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-4460 processor, and Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 570 to join the Star-Lord.

ICYMI, developer Eidos-Montréal recently clarified that Adam Warlock will be a “key character” in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy as opposed to having a minor side appearance.

In a brief (and we do mean brief; it’s six seconds long) teaser on the game’s official Twitter account,we saw Adam Warlock walking around an alien environment, saying: “So, the shepherd’s found fresh flock”. We don’t know who he’s talking to, but we already had it confirmed that the Universal Church of Truth will be one of the antagonists in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, we suspect it’s likely Adam is referring to Grand Unifier Raker.

Of course, you won’t be able to play as him, though; only Star-Lord is a playable character in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Sam enjoyed the brief time she went hands-on in Guardians of the Galaxy. “My time spent on the Milano pre-mission was then as much about learning about these characters and how they tick, as it was about trying to diffuse the situation somewhat,” she said.

“You can upgrade the Guardians’ perks at work benches using the components you collect during missions, which boost the moves or weapons the Guardians already have – like shields, health, or cool-down times. You also have Ability points that you can use to unlock new moves for each Guardian that you can equip at any point.”

Queen sent cheeky note to royal chef after finding slug in salad

A Royal chef had an unusual ticking off when the Queen found a slug in her salad.

Her majesty is said to have a simple taste in food and likes home produce – but that doesn’t extend to eating creepy crawlies from the garden.

And while the monarch is not one to say “fine” when dishes aren’t up to scratch, she has a sense of humour when it comes to letting her chefs know when something is wrong.

For the Queen has a comments book to let the chefs in the kitchen know how she feels about certain meals so they get to know her likes and dislikes, reports the Mirror.

And she used this system in a very bold way to let them know that she certainly dislikes slimy slugs in her lettuce, according to the Daily Mail‘s Weekend magazine.

Instead of writing a report she reportedly placed a dead slug on the page before writing ‘I found this in the salad – could you eat it?’ and sending it back to the kitchen.

Former chef Darren McGrady has been spilling the beans on Her Majesty’s tastes and says the royal chef prepares a red leather-bound book of meals for her to choose from.

She apparently marks her choices in pencil, crossing out dishes she doesn’t want and writing in suggestions.

McGrady, who worked as a royal chef for 15 years, says she likes “clean and simple” meals such as grilled Dover sole on wilted spinach.

During the week her chambermaid brings her a cup of Darjeeling tea at 7.30am and she drinks it while listening to Radio 4’s Today programme, he said.

Cereals in Tupperware containers, yoghurt, and marmalade on toast are the usual breakfast staples and apparently she sometimes feeds her corgis the crusts.

Her Majesty usually takes a traditional afternoon tea at 4pm with crust off sandwiches and chocolate, ginger and fruit cakes.

Dinner is usually game or fish from one of the royal estates, and the Queen is said to love white peaches from the greenhouse at Windsor Castle.

And although she steers clear of the the stove, Her Majesty is said to be happy to help with the washing up.
