King Charles to take away Prince Andrew’s smile by cutting his annual grant

Prince Andrew is said to be intent on following the business plan that has made Harry Meghan a fortune in America

King Charles III’s younger brother Andrew is facing ‘eviction’ from his mansion as the monarch has reportedly decided to cut the disgraced royal’s annual grant.

The Duke of York, who lost a lot as royal after his sex scandal and an out-of-court settlement with his accuser Virginia Giuffre, is reportedly “distraught” over a decision from the King that could force him out of the palatial mansion in Windsor with a dramatic cut to his yearly earnings looming in April.

The 63-year-old royal currently lives with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson at Royal Lodge, a 30-room mansion in Berkshire, about five kilometres south of Windsor Castle, Since 2004 it has served as his designated country residence.

According to sources, that was made feasible for many years because to a $436,000 annual subsidy that Andrew received from his mother’s private estate. The new King, who wants to reduce the size of the British monarchy, now has control over that money.

The Duke of York will be forced to rely on his less lucrative Naval pension as he does not have access to such a generous subsidy. A top royal reportedly made the following joke over Christmas: “We shall kick Andrew out of the house.” Andrew’s situation is now, however, extremely critical.

According to a source who spoke to The Sun, “it feels like his brother wants to evict him.”

Andrew is apparently planning to move out of Royal Lodge before the year is through since he won’t be able to pay for the upkeep bills after the cut.

The insider told the newspaper that the Queen “died only a few months ago,” and that “Andrew and Sarah are devastated they have been given such short notice.” Although he hasn’t been expressly expelled, it’s anticipated that he won’t be able to pay for the maintenance.

Recently, Andrew’s ex-wife acquired a lavish London property. According to reports, the former couple feels it is inappropriate because they have several dogs and horses.

One theory about Charles’ decision to reduce Andrew’s allowance is that he wants Andrew to utilise his own funds to make purchases. It’s only the most recent blow to the Duke’s reputation, who has faded from public view following his pricey settlement with Giuffre, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein’s teenage sex trafficking organisation.

As he tries to figure out how to carve out a new career away from the royal family, Andrew, the father of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, is believed to be determined to stick with the business strategy that has made Prince Harry and his wife Meghan wealthy in America.
