Ryan Seacrest provided some significant news to TV watchers Thursday morning.
After six years of entertaining America and sharing jokes and secrets, Seacrest has revealed that he will be leaving Live! with Kelly and Ryan.
Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa co-hosted the morning show for six years.
Because of his ability to draw viewers with his juicy and personal insights, Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos has been named as Seacrest’s replacement.
The well-known media figure revealed that he made the decision to pursue a substantial career move in 2022.
In order to concentrate on other endeavours, such as American Idol, American Top 40, and On Air with Ryan Seacrest, he will move back to Los Angeles.
The elated mega-producer said, “Working with Kelly for the past six years has been a dream job and one of the high points of my career. I will miss our mornings together even though we will always be a part of each other’s life because she has been an incredible partner, friend, and confidante. Michael Gelman and the entire staff and crew are also to be thanked.
We’ve met some of the most amazing individuals, created lifelong memories, and received the warmest welcome into the homes of so many viewers across America. After a great journey, I’m eager to hand the reins over to Kelly’s “actual” spouse, Mark.
I’ll be leaving Live this Spring to film the 21st season of American Idol in Los Angeles, continue my radio programme on KIIS-FM and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve, and devote my summer to opening three more Ryan Seacrest Foundation Studios in children’s hospitals around the nation, he continued. In 2017, when I agreed to present Live,
It was only supposed to last for three years, but because I like my work so much and getting to know Kelly, I decided to remain on for an additional year.
