When Michael Bublé decided to push back the dates of his Higher Tour from December 2022 to June 2023, Australian fans were devastated.
At the time, Michael explained that the Australian portion of the tour had been postponed due to “global logistical challenges.” Now, though, it appears that Michael’s family may have been another factor in the delay.
The Sway singer confessed in a recent interview with Gala Magazine that he has decided to cut back on his touring because he missed his wife and four kids too much when he was away.
“I came to the realisation that I miss my family. I therefore began splitting up the tours into segments of three weeks on tour and two weeks off. My management hates it,” stated Michael.
Michael acknowledged that he is aware that most fathers have to leave their kids while they are at work, so he makes the most of his advantageous situation by spending the entire day with his children when he isn’t on tour.

Michael claims that he is reducing his tour schedule because he misses his family.
Naturally, I miss them terribly, but everyone needs to go to work. Some fathers simply drive their children to school in the morning and give them a bedtime story in the evening. Every day is a father’s day when I’m at home.

Noah, Michael’s oldest kid, was just three years old when he received the hepatoblastoma diagnosis, a rare form of liver cancer. Noah went into remission and is now, happily, doing fine after receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
