Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike are popular with royal fans for their down to earth ways. Olympic equestrian Zara married former rugby star Mike in 2011 and the couple have two daughters together – Mia, six, and Lena, two.
July 30 is Zara and Mike’s ninth wedding anniversary and after comparing their wedding photos to recent photos of the couple, a body language expert claimed the pair’s relationship is stronger than ever.
Body language analyst and author Judi James examined a selection of photos of Mike and Zara’s wedding as well as recent photos of the pair and claimed their “sizzling sexuality” has grown with time.
She added: “They fancy each other as much now as they did during the start of their marriage, and perhaps even a little more.
In response to photos of their wedding day, the body language expert revealed how Zara put Mike at ease during the high profile event.
Judi said: “Zara and Mike’s wedding poses did seem to show the very down-to-earth rugby player looking like a fish out of water as a royal groom and there’s something about his body posture and the subtle physical awkwardness that suggested he would be more comfortable in a scrum on pitch than being under scrutiny from the world’s press as he married into the royal firm.
“What is also clear though is that he adored Zara and that felt he had found his soulmate in terms of energy, fun and what looked like an unquenchably happy attitude to life.
“When put under the pressure of the big day, Mike’s eyes barely left Zara’s face and he seemed to gain confidence from the size of her grin.”
According to Judi, Zara’s electric smile showed she was in her element.
She added: “The support was clearly mutual though, with Zara’s mega-watt smile showing she was having the best day of her life alongside her best friend and new husband.”
Judi said the Tindall’s marriage appears to be very authentic and that their love for one another does not seem to have faded since their wedding day.
She said: “The fabulous thing about the Tindall marriage is that all the positive non-verbal signals from the wedding were clearly a reflection of their relationship in private too, and now we can see that the emotions displayed have endured undiluted through nine years of marriage.
“With Mike able to be himself outside the formality of the wedding, their signals show mutual respect and admiration that might also stem from the fact that they are also sporting champions in their own field.”
According to Judi, Mike and Zara display all the ingredients of a successful marriage – a shared sense of humour, mutual respect and powerful physical attraction.
She said: “Behind all the signals of ongoing shared fun, the glances that Zara and Mike throw at one another suggest they are each gazing at their own hero.
“Respect is often one of the first casualties of a doomed marriage but Zara and Mike’s signals look as strong as they did on the day of their wedding.”
She added: “The second factor that seems to bind Zara and Mike is that their eye-gaze and mirrored grins suggest they each feed off the other for fun.
“Their humour seems shared, rather than the straight-guy funny-guy balance you often see in marriages, and the way they use exclusive body language rituals when they are socialising suggest that, although they are clearly social animals, their ideal companion is one another.”
Judi claims the most powerful aspect of Mike and Zara’s body language is their sexuality.
The body language expert claimed: “The truly powerful message from their body language as a couple is their sizzling sexuality, though.
“With Mike obviously on his best behaviour on his wedding day this aspect of their relationship was less obvious but it always looks from their poses as though they fancy each other as much now as they did during the start of their marriage, and perhaps even a little more.”
Examining a recent photo of Mike and Zara kissing at a horse trials last autumn, Judi said: “The passion appears undimmed for Zara and Mike.
“This shot of Zara poking her head through the car window to kiss her husband is just one illustration of the way they truly can’t seem to keep their hands off one another.”
Judi claimed Mike still makes Zara “weak at the knees.”
She added: “When Zara gazes at Mike on the red carpet her trait of crossing her legs at her ankles suggests he still manages to make her go weak at the knees and when it’s Mike gazing at his wife his almost soppy grin suggests that sentiment is shared by both of them.”
