The CDC Just Announced 10 New Coronavirus Hotspots

Contrary to President Trump’s assertion that “large portions of the country … are corona-free,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reporting that coronavirus cases are “high and still growing” across much of the U.S.—and nine out of 10 of the country’s coronavirus hotspots are in Florida and Texas. That’s the gist of an internal government document that was circulated among government agencies on Tuesday and reported on by Yahoo! News. According to the CDC, these are the 10 U.S. counties reporting the highest number of new cases per 100,000 residents in the last two weeks:
