Rapper Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade, shared a new statement on Instagram Stories stating that why she wouldn’t participate in a social media movement.
After George Floyd’s death, the protests have been continuing against racial discrimination and police violence in many states. Also, various movements started to support protests on social media. This huge movement aimed to suspend the sharings and to mute the accounts on social media.
Today, Hailie Jade announced she wouldn’t be joining in the massive movement called ‘Blackout Tuesday‘ on social media. She claimed that ‘Blackout Tuesday’ posts are drowning out vital information shared under the ‘Black Live Matter’ hashtag. She wrote:
“As I am using this time to listen and learn I found this article and information about what not to hashtag today and why.”
The 24-year-old Instagram influencer also left an internet link of an article about why she didn’t participate in the social media movement. Click here to read the article.

At the beginning of the incident, Hailie Jade showed her support to justice for George Floyd by sharing posts on social media and shared a list of resources for followers who are looking for ways to demand justice over Floyd’s killing.
“Linked an article that lists some ways you can help.”
