Princess Eugenie has shared a sweet photo as she celebrates a relationship milestone with husband Jack Brooksbank and vows to help others do the same.
The royal published a loved-up snap of he alongside her husband to celebrate their ten-year anniversary.
She urged her followers to share their own anniversary pictures as she insisted they are “lucky to be together” as the nation faces its fifth week in lockdown.
In the post, published on Instagram yesterday, she wrote: “Jack and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary today and we are lucky enough to be together at this time.
“If anyone has an anniversary this week, if you are together or not because of this challenging time, if you are a frontline worker wishing to tell your person you love them, then please do send me a photo and message via DM of how you are celebrating and I will share your messages on my story over the next few days.”
The post has been liked more than 165,000 times, but no anniversary photos have been shared to her story yet.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank married in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle in October 2018.
The post comes as her older sister, Princess Beatrice, cancelled her upcoming nuptials as restrictions were replaced on social gatherings, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 31-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson was set to marry fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at St. James’s Palace in London on May 29 with a reception at her grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s gardens at Buckingham Palace.
Earlier this week, Beatrice made her first public appearance since the news broke, sharing a message of support with the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity, of which she is patron.
In the clip, which was shared on the organisation’s Twitter page, she urged followers to get in touch with the charity.
She said: “This is an incredibly challenging time for the world and the United Kingdom.”
The Royal Family have been active in helping during the lockdown as the UK coronavirus death toll climbed to 19,506 yesterday.
Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew have also made a rare public appearance together this week, packing gift bags for a hospice.
The Duke of York, 60, has rarely been seen since stepping back from royal duties.
But several snaps, shared by Sarah’s assistant Antonia Marshall on Instagram, showed the Queen’s son lending a helping hand as he delivered the gifts to Thames Hospice in Windsor.
The UK coronavirus death toll surpassed 20,000 today, as 781 more hospital deaths were reported today.
