Meghan Markle, 38, and Prince Harry, 35, have settled in Los Angeles with Archie Harrison as they embark on a new life outside the royal bubble. While the young family have expressed their desire for a more peaceful they may still wish to celebrate Archie’s first birthday with fans on May 6.
In recent weeks Kate, Duchess of Cambridge has delighted royal watchers by sharing new photos of Prince Louis, two, and Princess Charlotte, five, to mark their birthdays.
On April 23, Prince Louis turned two and mum Kate shared adorable new portraits of the youngster playing with rainbow paints to mark his big day.
Ahead of Charlotte’s fifth birthday this weekend Kate and William released four new photos of their daughter helping to deliver care packages to vulnerable members of the community.
Mum Kate is a talented photographer and is has become something of a tradition that she shares new snaps she has taken of her little ones on each of their birthdays.
While Meghan and Harry have been keen to keep Archie out of the public eye, they are expected to share a new photo of him as he turns one on Wednesday.
The proud parents have not shared a new picture of little Archie since the new year when the published an adorable snap of Harry holding him while out on hike in Canada.
A stunning lake was visible in the background and Archie was wrapped up against the chilly weather in a bobble hat and mini UGG boots.
Asked if fans could expect to get a glimpse of Archie on his big day, a spokeswoman for the couple told the Sunday Times: “You can expect to see him.”
Where will Meghan and Harry share the new photo?
Meghan and Harry wrapped up their Sussex Royal Instagram account ahead of their royal step down at the end of March.
In a moving message, they thanked their 11 million followers and bid them an emotional farewell.
Part of the post seemed to hint it would be their final post on that account as they will no longer be able to use the word “royal” in association with themselves moving forward.
The post read: “As we all find the part we are to play in this global shift and changing of habits, we are focusing this new chapter to understand how we can best contribute.
“While you may not see us here, the work continues.
“Thank you to this community – for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world.
“We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great!”
Where and how the couple choose to “reconnect” with fans remains to be seen but some expect they could launch a new Instagram account on Archie’s birthday.
Last month Meghan and Harry revealed their new philanthropic venture will be called “Archewell” and explained how it was linked to their son’s name.
While the Sussexes have not confirmed where they will share the new picture with Archie fans will be keeping their eyes peeled come Wednesday.
Archie’s special milestone could provide the perfect opportunity for them to launch a new social media presence.
