The last song Olivia Newton-John ever recorded has been released

Now that Olivia Newton-John has passed away, her final song has been made public.

It’s a duet of the popular song Jolene with Dolly Parton that was published on Olivia’s own YouTube channel.

Before the new version of the song starts, Olivia and Dolly express their excitement about singing together. “I’m excited, I’ve always wanted to sing with Dolly,” Olivia exclaims.

“Working with one of my all-time favourite performers, Olivia Newton-John, makes me incredibly happy. We have maintained a close relationship over the years, and I’m thrilled to be a part of her duet endeavour, adds Dolly.

Olivia did a duet of Jolene with Dolly Parton just before she passed away.

Olivia recorded the song on her seventh studio album, Come On Over, which was released in 1976, and Dolly created and first released Jolene in 1974.

It was recorded not long before Olivia passed away, and it has both Olivia and Dolly singing.

On August 9, 2022, Olivia tragically lost away following a protracted fight with cancer. She had a 73-year-old age. John Easterling, her husband, shared a touching tribute on social media in order to confirm the news.

“Dame Olivia Newton-John died quietly this morning at her Home in Southern California, surrounded by loved ones. Please respect the family’s privacy during this very trying time, we ask everyone.

For more over 30 years, Olivia has shared her breast cancer struggle as a symbol of victories and hope, said John.

The Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, which is focused on studying plant medicine and cancer, carries on her pioneering expertise with plant medicine and healing inspiration. The family requests that any memorial contributions be directed to the @onjfoundation rather than flowers.
