Tom Cruise promotes upcoming ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

Tom Cruise spoke about his onscreen reunion with costar Val Kilmer in ‘Top Gun: Maverick’

Michael Cruise highlighted his latest movie, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Friday.

The 60-year-old Top Gun: Maverick actor spoke on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and said that he watches his own movies in theatres.

I attend the first weekend. The Edge of Tomorrow actor admitted to Kimmel, “I love watching movies that are intended for the screen on the big screen.

Cruise also talked about the prospect of seeing his future Mission: Impossible installment on a streaming service.

The Oscar-nominated actor said, “We made it for the theatre, me, my friends, and the entire crew. The picture is made for the screen.”

The actor added that his aim was to appear in movies that audiences would likely find enjoyable. “That’s what I want—when they truly appreciate it. I create my films with you, the viewers, in mind. So it’s enjoyable. I just want to keep you amused,’ he added.

The actor also discussed his reunion with his former co-star Val Kilmer and his work on Top Gun: Maverick.

He said their on-screen reunion was “quite emotional” when talking about his old pal deciding to play a crucial part in the sequel.
